  Average grocery store. Actually it's where a normally shop. My reason for 4 stars is they have been in a remodel process for a while now(2 years?). After a store redesign, it was changed back to close to what it was before. They do a good job getting construction out of the way a shopping but the constant change has me a frequent shopper searching for items that aren't where they were last week. The prices, choices and produce quality keep me coming back even with the construction.

  There's been a gap of time between this recent visit and the last time. They've completely redone the interior and it looks amazing. Bar inside with awesome looking deli food. Very clean store, service was great!

  With a winning combination of great customer service, a diverse selection of products (including a growing emphasis on local and regional selections) and decent prices, Lowes Foods is easily one of Boone's top grocery stores. Being able to enjoy a cold, craft beer from the store's Beer Den, while shopping, is also a plus -- and probably contributes to a curious variety of impulse buys.
