- 3 / 5By David JohnsonI have always liked The Whopper, best of the fast food burgers, in my book. Over the years I have had nice and hot whoppers in Statesville and Jefferson, but never here. I don't think the equipment, in use maybe 30 years, is capable of producing a piping hot burger. No big deal, but the word warm would be generous.
I stop by every so many years, anyway. Today, I noticed hmm Whopper Wed combo $4, well OK. So, results? OK, barely warm burger, and the fries? Ah, just a hint of cod, you know, the fish smell and taste. Oh well. If I am still alive in maybe 5 years, I'll probably hanker after another Whopper.October 01, 2016
