  I have been to Applebee's in Boone, NC several times since they came to town. The first two times we went we had hair in our food one time and the next our food came out cold. The times I went after that were okay. The last two times I've been there is was awful. Last year on my birthday we went to lunch and my food was not prepared to my liking. After sending it back once and it coming out still not right I gave up and ate what they gave me. That same day our server was terrible. Went for Valentine's Day this year and was very disappointed. My food has way too much pepper on it, my boyfriend's "baby back ribs" looked like cheap meat attached to a bone. We ordered mixed drinks and they were way too strong. Don't get me wrong, I like a beer or mixed drink here and there but the bartender over pours and has done so in during past visits. I've given this restaurant many chances to redeemed itself and it has yet to do so. After last night we will not be returning, ever.

  Not their fault bit they were busy and so we had to wait a bit and silverware was a wait as well. But again they were busy. Food was good and service was spoty but our server was doing well for the amount he was handling.
